Atopic dermatitis is a common skin disease and affects as much as 10-15% of the dog population.
Atopic dermatitis is caused by a reaction to substances in the environment known as allergens, and it’s a lifelong condition. While there is no cure, or may be seasonal (40-75% of cases) effective treatment can still help your dog maintain a high quality of life.
Atopic dermatitis is often treated with both oral medications and/or topical medications. Typical medications such as corticosteroids, antihistamines, etc. These medications frequently have negative side effects such as increased thirst and urination, increased hunger, panting, and general loss of energy.
A natural, safe and effective therapeutic is needed. Irvine Labs has developed a natural, topical therapeutic for atopic dermatitis dogs, which has shown to be very safe and effective in field studies and preferred by dog owners. Irvine Labs is taking this products through FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine for pivotal studies with the goal to be approved as a prescription drug.
